Medical App Development for Russian Urologists Association

MedMind is a company providing digital solutions for medical organizations.

The Scope

MedMind turned to Azoft with the purpose to optimize the mobile app for the members of the Russian society of urology (RSU). It was necessary to widen app functionality and to develop a medical app for the urologists association.

The Solution

In order to meet all the customer requirements, Azoft’s development team had to remodel and upgrade the app. RSU wanted to get a hybrid app that is equally good in realizing various features as with iOS devices as with Android devices. To provide a cross-platform experience, we used the popular framework PhoneGap.

The optimized app had the following characteristics

• Convenient registration and authorization
• Editing a private account
• Asynchronous data exchange with the external web server
• QR-codes generation of the base of ID
• Renewed modern design

The Outcome

We have implemented all the planned enhancements in the RSU app. The resulting urology mobile app turned out as a contemporary and user-friendly mobile solution. It supplements the official website effectively and supports the main mission of the Russian Society of Urology – to provide society members with relevant information about news and events from their professional industry. The next step the customer is going to develop similar mobile apps for other professional medical associations.
