Hidence: Conference App for Networking

The Client

Creative Construction is Azoft’s long-term partner, a German company specializing in the development and optimization of digital solutions for various industries.

The Scope

Conferences unite many interesting people with common professional and business interests in one place at one time. However, a saturated conference program, a large number of participants, and overall immersion into the mobile devices leads to the end the opportunity of finding potentially useful contacts.

To solve this problem, Creative Construction thought up an conference app called Hidence and commissioned Azoft to implement it. The app is targeted to help participants of the conferences meet potential business partners and make appointments.

The Solution

Azoft developed iOS and Android applications as well as implemented backend part for administration and API. The app functionality includes matching the most prominent contacts, integration with social networks, chat support, and search of the contacts.

Hidence app is available in AppStore and GooglePlay.

The Challenge

In the beginning, the customer had only a general idea of the required app. The requirements of the app structure and functionality were formed gradually within the development process. In accordance with a mutual agreement between Azoft and the customer, we chose the Scrum methodology. It helped to build a flexible and effective way of work for the project team.

At first, we planned and developed only an iOS app. When we implemented the main functionality, Creative Construction made a deal with representatives of one major conference and promised that all the conference participants can use the app during the event. For this reason, we had to begin development of the Android app very quickly. The main complexity was that we needed to make up for lost time and create an Android version in the very tight period at the same level as the iOS app. We successfully coped with the task and launched an app both for iOS and Android right at the beginning of the conference.

The Outcome

We implemented all the works for MVP version of the app within a defined deadline in accordance with the requirements. The client company enjoyed the result and now they are planning the next stage of the product development together with Azoft.
