Azoft developed an engine that lets build independent mobile games — quizzes.
The goal of the Mobile Games(quiz) is to provide mobile users with a java quiz game, linked to a remote server on which all questions are stored. User can download mobile quiz application
which makes a connection to a remote server to download questions(minimum 10 per set).
Application asks the user the downloaded questions, provides multiple-choice answers and remembers the chosen answers. Then it automatically calculates the score of the gamer. At the end of a game (3 mistakes are made, independent of number of questions asked), the midlet allows user to upload his score to a remote server and to take part in the competition.
Azoft developed two clients: the first is a J2ME application
for GSM/GPRS networks, the second is an I-HTML version for i-mode networks. The logic of I-HTML game resembles the logic of J2ME game. Both clients have score upload functionality. User interface was developed in Dutch.
Also, a system administration web oriented tool was developed to manage players, questions and collect statistics. Also, players and game community members can see high-scores on a dedicated web site.
